Overview
Scarborough
Gospel Temple is a Pentecostal church that is
located in Ontario, Canada. As the congregation began to grow
at Scarborough Gospel Temple, several of the board members felt
the need for this establishment to expand its presence to reach
the World Wide Web. We were
commissioned by Tom to provide the congregation a web site
that would provide information on upcoming events, related
news in the community and online sermon notes of the weekly
Sunday teachings.

We conducted research
to gain a better understanding on the needs of the organization. |

After doing this we created
a top-down design of the website that was both easy to
use and navigate by the user. |

Produced a colour scheme
to denote newest articles to help users immediately know
which articles they hadn’t read or downloaded. |

Designed an event calendar
to communicate upcoming important dates to the church
community. |
|
Included a web-page that
contains sermon notes in Microsoft PowerPoint format |
|
Lastly we felt it was
very important for the staff at Scarborough Gospel to
be able to update the event calendar without the fuss
of having to know complicated computer languages, therefore
we designed an administration site that would allow for
easy updates at the click of a button. |
